How much a taxi from Gran Canaria airport to the south costs
It depends on how far your hotel is. To Maspalomas, where most people go, it is around 50 € at most. To Playa del Inglés, 45 €. To the far end of Mogán, 80 €. Below you have the 22 destinations, one by one.
Every figure is the maximum, not the minimum. It sits above what the meter usually reads on purpose, so there are no surprises on arrival. I give you the ceiling and not the prettiest number: I would rather tell you today than leave you wondering on the day of the trip.

How the T3 tariff works
Transfers from the airport to the south run on the T3 intercity tariff, which is regulated and set by the meter. At night, on Sundays and on public holidays it runs faster, and that is why what you see above is a ceiling covering any hour: it almost always reads less. Neither I nor anyone else can lower that tariff, so there are no discounts for booking ahead or for combining trips.

Questions about the price
Can you give me a fixed price?
- No, and I would rather tell you today than argue about it on arrival. The taxi runs on the T3 tariff, which is regulated and set by the meter. What I give you is the guide maximum: the meter almost always reads less.
Why does the price change with the time of day?
- At night, on Sundays and on public holidays the meter runs at a higher rate. That is why the figure I publish is a ceiling covering any time band, and not the price of one particular band.
Is there a discount for booking ahead or for a group?
- There are no discounts of any kind, neither for booking ahead nor for combined trips. The meter reads what it reads.
When do I pay?
- When you get to your destination. Card, Bizum or cash. I do not ask for a deposit or payment in advance.
Do you take me back to the airport as well?
- I cannot. My licence is from Telde and the journey has to start inside that municipality. The airport is in Telde, so I can take you to the south; but picking you up in the south to come back would mean starting the journey outside my municipality.
